Before, during and after his tenure as Director General of the Renewable Energy Association, Philip Wolfe initiated a number of policy innovations, and was lead author on some of the key policy papers.

Philip Wolfe's executive role with the Renewable Energy Association lasted during a period of very rapid developments of national and international policy in relation to sustainable and renewable energy.
